Do you have to provide the custodial parent any other phone numbers besides home number by law.?

The custodial parent said she is going to take us to court because I blocked her number on his cell phone. She is harrassing him at work. By law are we required to unblock that or is giving her the home number sufficient enough by law?Do you have to provide the custodial parent any other phone numbers besides home number by law.?
There are no laws which address whether you need to unblock her number. The only thing that's binding is what's written in the divorce papers. If his divorce papers say that he is required to list all relevant phone numbers, then yes, he could be cited for contempt of court for blocking her number. But if the divorce papers say nothing about it, she's blowing smoke and probably knows it - or will know it as soon as she talks to her lawyer. Then again, the lawyer may do whatever she wants - that's how they get paid, but chances are a judge would dismiss any action she took, as there would be no grounds for citing him.

You do need to be aware, however, that in an emergency - like an injury or an illness requiring hospitalization - his ex would not be able to get ahold of him, and should something terrible happen he may have some guilt to deal with.

You might also think about - and threaten her with - taking legal action for harassment. Most likely a judge will agree that her phone calls constitute harassment, and would place a restraining order prohibiting her from harassing him. You might not even need a lawyer to do that - you could just go ask to see the judge and explain it to him. If you're going to do this, go together and have some documentation from his employer stating that she has indeed been harassing him. Take the upper hand and throw her threat back in her face!Do you have to provide the custodial parent any other phone numbers besides home number by law.?
You should butt out and let him deal with it. Sounds like you are causing trouble. He doesn't have to answer his cell phone at work - voice mail will pick up.
